Missionaries who come to Uganda have the right to adopt children. And the girl decided despite her young age to become a mother. She could not choose one of the children, because she fell in love with all of them and all needed care. She adopted 13 girls.
The girl confesses that she is grateful to the children, for having taught her to love and appreciate life. She helped them, and they taught her how to live.
There, Ketty met a guy who also did charity work. Probably her meeting with Benjamin Majors was fateful. They fell in love with each other and got married.

The girl decided to use her impressions and thoughts in writing her book. Her adventures in Uganda found a place in her story. By the way, her story according to the New York Times became a bestseller.
Now, the family lives in the small village of Jinja. They are happy and that’s the most important thing!
