An elderly woman named Ruth Linnea from Sweden became a Guinness World Record holder. At the age of 103, a brave lady decided to jump from a parachute.

Since the age of 90, Ruth has been interested in different sports. The woman dreamed of flying and did not want to leave this dream unfulfilled.

Ruth got to know older people who were engaged in that sport. She became friends with Katherine Hodges from the USA. She was the world record holder at that time. She made a parachute jump from an airplane at the age of 103 years and 129 days.

The woman decided to set a new her own record. Ruth was at that time 103 years and 259 days old. And the most amazing thing is that Ruth moved with the help of a walker, but she took a chance on this step.

The woman dressed in protective gear, a blue and white parachute, turned on the song “Try Your Wings” and set off towards her dream.

Ruth landed without incident. She was greeted by relatives and friends.

Larsson is a happy old lady! She has 19 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren!
