Despite feeling unwell, she put her all into the filming of the new movie “De son vivant”, which she was part of. She didn’t let her state of mind get to her and made sure to give it her utmost dedication.
Catherine has been invited to join Emmanuel Berko’s upcoming French feature this year. She will play the character of the protagonist’s mum who battles cancer throughout the movie.
It is worth noting that Catherine and Emmanuelle are not working together for the first time. She had previously starred in his films, such as: “For Cigarettes” and “Young Blood”. And by the way, for her role in the first film, Catherine Deneuve was nominated for the title of best actress as part of the Cesar film award.
Work on the third film in the director-actress collaboration began in the second half of 2019, but was suspended due to Deneuve’s health issues.
For the past 7 months, Catherine Deneuve has been receiving medical attention undergoing rehabilitation. Fortunately, her health is now back to its prior state and she is feeling better. Thankfully, the 76-year-old star had a successful recovery as what the doctors predicted.
Catherine has made some lifestyle changes and taken an oath to stay away from smoking & coffee. It’s amazing to see how much discipline and dedication an actress can show when it comes to staying healthy. We wish her the best of luck and eagerly look forward to her upcoming projects!
