Workers at the Wildlife Conservation Fund in Kenya found a little elephant left without a mother. The animal could hardly stand on its feet. It was dehydrated and exhausted. The workers named the baby elephant Loijuk.

She was well looked after. She fully recovered and when she grew up a little, they decided to release her into the wild.

Elephants are known for their phenomenal memory and kindness.

The heroine of our story, even after a few years, remembered and returned to the reserve, to the place where she was rescued and raised. Coming to the reserve, she expressed her gratitude to the workers.

Last autumn, Loijuk made a real surprise for the workers of the reserve. The animal once again decided to visit kind people, but this time she was no longer alone. The elephant became a mother and brought her newborn baby elephant.

The head caretaker of the shelter examined the baby elephant. Loijuk did not object in any way as she completely trusted them. The baby was named Lily.

The mother elephant left with her baby elephant but decided not to go far from the reserve. Now the workers of the reserve look after them and feed them from time to time.

Elephants are unique animals. Thanks to their large brain, which weighs 11 pounds, elephants have a good memory and show feelings: sadness, joy and love.
